Built on Good Food
and
Good People.

OUR STORY

America is a long ways away, and for Diana Foster Ho, familiar southern comforts were hard to come by. That’s what birthed the idea for this family-friendly, casual diner β€” co-founded with her husband Ben and their friend Joyce, and built on one simple belief: good food should feel honest.

The menu came directly from Diana’s list of things she missed from home. Every dish is made properly β€” meats prepared in-house, sauces from scratch, ingredients sourced from small local Penang businesses. No shortcuts, because the people eating here deserve better than that.

Today, Let’s Meat is a place people come back to. Where families share meals and fries, friends linger longer than they planned, and regulars feel right at home in Tanjung Bungah, Penang.

The Things We Refuse to Compromise On

Made Properly, Every Time

Meats prepared in-house, sauces made from scratch, every single day. We take the time because the people at our tables deserve food that’s been made with care β€” not pulled from a bag and reheated.

Service That Actually Cares

Our team is here to look after you β€” not just process your order. Attentive, warm, and genuinely friendly. The kind of service where you feel like a regular even the first time you walk in.

Local Businesses, Always

Where we can, we try to source from small Penang businesses and local start-ups. It’s not a marketing point. It’s good for the food, good for the community.

Bridging Cultures

American heritage, Penang heart. We celebrate the beautiful blend of cultures that makes our restaurant β€” and our city β€” so special.
